Here's my version of the
Buttercup Bag pattern found at
Made by Rae.
I used velcro for the closure since I didn't have a clasp and I used a zipper pocket inside instead of a square pocket. This is a great purse and so cute and small compared to lugging around the diaper bag.
Of course, I "needed" a new wallet, too.
Amanda, do you recognize the pink fabric? Yup, it's a recycled skirt - works great!

That's quite impressive! And I'm happy to have found your blog, since you are my niece-in-law and I don't know you. It turns out that we may have a lot in common. Cool!

I really like it! I plan to make my own, too. Tell me about your wallet. Did you use a pattern you could share with me? Thanks!
WOW! Dedicating your baby on Mother's Day...how very appropriate!
I did make my own buttercup bag! Thank you for sharing you pattern! I'm not sure if you saw it or not. I can't wait to get adventurous one day soon and try a zipper.
