A Yummy Winning!

I'd like to send out a big thank you to my friend, Patty~Jean, who recently held a giveaway on her blog From Home. Patty~Jean has joined the healthy chocolate business and I was the blessed recipient of her latest giveaway... a yummy winning, indeed! (We bit into our prize way to quickly for me to take pictures of the whole package, but here's what the yummy nuggets looked like)

As you can see Abby has claimed the larger one as a hat!

A Mini Show 'n' Tell

I won another bloggy giveaway! The lovely Emily Martin of the Black Apple sent me these lovely little buttons which are from her original paintings. You may recognize her name and blog from my doll post. What a delight to receive some of the famous Emily Martin's artwork.

In other news, this is my 98th post and I'm thinking of hosting my own little giveaway for my 100th. I might just include some of these little lovelies from the Black Apple. I'm sure I can include some of my own handmade lovelies - be sure to stay tuned!

Inspiration in the Mail

I got my parcel from Pink Chalk Fabrics today. Kathy, your service and packaging is amazing. You are so generous and thoughtful and I will definitely be making a purchase from you in the future! 3 of these fabrics you may recognize as the choices I made for the contest that I won. The black and white fabric is to accent a bag I'm working on and the Note Taker pattern has been on my pattern wish list for a long time. I can't wait to make one! Now I just have to pre-wash the fabric and I can get to my sewing projects! Go visit Kathy's store and fall in love with it like I have! UPDATED TO ADD: I have never had such straight cut fabric. Kathy, you're cuts are almost perfect!
